It will all come out in the end. It always does. It's hard for me to believe there is surprise here right? If you just go by the sheer volume of rumors that were out there...and let's say that 50% of those were just idiots piling on or making stuff up...and the number is half wrong, hell 75% wrong...that is still a lot of really stupid shit.

The way Turd emphasized a couple times that “Nebraska always fulfills our contracts” sure made it sound like a message he was sending to potential head coaches.

One of the selling points we’ll have if we get in a bidding war is our AD is a football guy who is true to his word. This stuff can make a big difference if it comes down to School A vs School B (in a recruiting hotbed)

This is yet another little nugget that if you're a good coach....your agent should be paying attention. This is a MUCH better job than it was 3+ years ago. Hell, it's a better job than before Turd got into the AD's seat.

If I’m a coach that can have get any job I want, Nebraska checks a few of my biggest boxes;

Will my AD get me what I ask for without giving me bullshit?

Will my boosters pony up and buy me the players I need (what a weird world were in now)? < I had a coach tell me this is a new question every coach will have to ask themselves now before accepting a job.

If I win, will they have the money to pay me what I’m worth or will I have to move my family again?


Anyone who doesn’t think Nebraskas a great job anymore doesn’t understand how big these questions are. Our fans are literally keeping this program alive right now.

So 2 people with direct access to practice dispute what Severe says. Not sure why he would lie about it other than to create drama and try to gain listeners. Media alone in this state has to be one of the biggest negatives of the job.

It would be impossible to make it to year 5 without showing up on time to practice. I know we're in the crapper here, but that 🐐 3-9 team last year would have looked much worse if that were the case.

According to one of those guys meetings took place prior to the practice. Maybe that is what Frost missed or was late for? Some people might not make the distinction between the meetings and the actual on-field stuff.

Both people also mentioned that he wasn't always out there for the warmups and other activities that took place technically 'before' the practice began. Isn't that a little odd? I would expect the HC to be there for all meetings and pre-practice activities.

It is a big operation, if they are shifting between meetings to on field I could very easily find it where a HC would try to take care of a couple things while the players were warming up.

The last one. Avoiding a mess in court and potentially poisoning the well for future candidates. I think there's knowing he was derelict in his duties and then being able to prove it in court to the degree that you could invalidate a contract

Could be that he's not in the building when they do position meetings etc and someone like Mickey says fuck that. HC should be the first one there and last one gone.

Can't be in all the meetings but could be in different ones every day.
