Same timeframe as me. I went to Loveland HS 87-89. Wasn't terrible there as Loveland sent a lot of players to Nebraska. Scott McCloughan was in my class, I actually gave him answers to a couple of tests.I went to high school in Colorado during the Bill Macartney years (89-92). It was pure hell being a Husker fan in that time. Went to UNL 93-97. I grew to hate them more than anything. Still do. I hope we slap the shit out of them, Saturday night.

This is really a dumb comment. Hunter might be the best player in CFB and if so he probably should win the Heisman.
He'll probably have 3-4 massive plays (TDs, INTs). But he's going to have those every game this so long as he doesn't get injured. But CU is going 6-6 at best. I've never seen a "Heisman moment" take place in first week of Sept. This is just kind of a dumb comment by your buddy.
Hunter's going to have Heisman moments every game this year. Much like Ndamukong Suh had Heisman moments every game for us in 2009. The question is, will voters give him the award? For Suh that was a no. And he was on a 9-3 team and he still didn't win. Hunter is who is he is (probably the best football player in the nation)...really just comes down to if the voters are down or not given he'll be on a 6-6 at best team.

I think it's dumb too as I don't think he's considering the other factors in the game as to who will win. He doesn't see the hype in a true freshman QB whose only played against UTEP, and thinks our run game is irrelevant in modern college football.

Yeah. My point is, saying Travis Hunter is going to have a huge game (against any opponent) is like saying 'I have a prediction: Ndamukong Suh is going to have a big game this week!' Like, yeah....way to go out on a limb there.

Most recent text to me a few minutes ago was that he is sick of Nebraska fans saying "we are back" because we beat UTEP. I told him we are not back, because of that, and I have yet to see or hear a single person say that.
