BetMGM and the Buffs

Throwing away money.

Based on talent alone:
I'd venture to guess there are about 6 teams capable of winning the national championship
Georgia
Alabama
LSU
Ohio State
Michigan
USC

Who am I missing? I guess these teams have almost enough talent but everything would have to go right and the guys above would have to have something catastrophic happen:
Penn State - They'd have to beat both tOSU and Michigan
Texas - Can they stop anybody on defense?
A&M - Do you trust Bobby Petrino to be allowed by Jimbo to actually run a decent offense?
Clemson - Garret Riley enough to modernize their offense?
Florida St. - They have a lot of good players coming back and they play in the ACC.

Tennessee would be in the conversation, but having to play both Bama and Georgia makes them a longshot

either way, there's about 100 teams with a better chance than CU

At some point that "chance" becomes so vanishingly small that the difference between CU's chance to win and the 30th team on that list is not even worth mentioning
