Yeah. Maybe his thinking is he's got a better shot at a good HC job this way than continuing to stack mediocre MAC seasons? He had a losing year this year as well. He’s about a .500 MAC coach.

Only if 2/3 out of Oregon, Washington and Utah end up staying in whatever conference they have left. Highly doubtful imo. With the 12 team playoff happening a place like Colorado may not be a bad job. Watered down pac12 champ will be in

That's what I was thinking. He'll be HC in 2025.I don’t think he was making that much at Kent State. Plus if they have a little success and Deion leaves I bet that guy takes over - Actually NVM he has a losing record as a HC
It looks like to me he was one year away from getting fired.Gotta be more to the story.
The real question here is who is responsible for the success of the offense at Kent - the HC or OC? @slattimer any insights? You don’t just go plucking head coaches from decent MAC programs as coordinators unless there’s a story. Seems we may have just found that out.
Andrew Sowder - Football Coach - Kent State Golden Flashes
Andrew Sowder joined Kent State in January of 2018 as offensive coordinator. He has also worked with quarterbacks and tight ends during his time with the Goldenkentstatesports.com
If I recall, it’s this guy who @slattimer is a huge fan of along with this guy:

I really don't know that answer. I was just interested in their statistics because I like O'Boyle. And they've been a very good offense statistically. I haven't watched any of their games/film/etc. I'm assuming they lost their QB is why they struggled this year. The real question here is who is responsible for the success of the offense at Kent - the HC or OC? @slattimer any insights?
Don't despair. We're keeping Uncle Donny. Is he really?
YepIs he really?
Seriously?!
QuackHonestly looks like Coach Prime is gonna put together an elite staff on a 5 million dollar budget. I ain't eating crow yet but shoo wee
But 3 of those loses this year were to Washington, Oklahoma, and Georgia. And they hung with GA for way longer than they had any business doing. He had a losing year this year as well. He’s about a .500 MAC coach.
I figured that was a no brainer. Why wouldn't he?This article says Travis Hunter is 100% colorado bound. Fuck us quack
They were also 4-4 in conference. But 3 of those loses this year were to Washington, Oklahoma, and Georgia. And they hung with GA for way longer than they had any business doing.
