What does this now do for Frost?

Hater……

Perhaps only you, @bbenson67, and @LoudHogRider were even glimmers in your fathers' eyes in 1971 on this board.

That's fine, but youngins like my 35 year old brother and even younger @God is a Husker weren't even speckles in their grandfather's eyes back then.

My bro's experience in college wrt Husker football was way worse than mine, and he's too young to remember much of the the glory years other than my parent's best friend going to the emergency room after holding an artillery shell in his hand after the NU vs Miami game.

A word to the wise: artillery shells have cardboard tubes and plastic bases. If you don't put that plastic base on something solid, the shell will go off in your hand.

My first Husker memory was my Dad crying after the 97 title

so yeah, basically my entire conscious fandom has been post glory days

🙁

LSU's OL in 19 would have got Burrows killed by the 01 Canes Defense or the 95 Blackshirts
It all depends on the rules put in place. If you’re using the 90s rules where you could mug a receiver and have your offensive line cut block, the 95 Huskers could beat anyone. If you’re going off today’s rules where the passing game gets every benefit rules wise, it would be much tougher for the 95 Huskers. That’s why Saban is the goat coach wise. The guy has won championships with multiple offensive systems. He has changed his offensive philosophy to meet the times while shuffling assistants on a yearly basis.

I'm 28 and my back and entire hip structure hurt when I get up every day. My dad always tells me "wait till you hit 30"

physically I’m better than I was when I was in my 20s

Got my Labia repaired, back to 32/32 pant size (I’m 6’1 in boots ok move on) and I stopped shaving my head so now I have a big blonde combover that my wife loves and refuses to let me shave it.

wife also made me quit smoking… god damn I miss both tho

lol no worries I'm not the tallest guy around but I'm good enough. Measured myself a few years ago because I worked with guys all taller than besides one and he was super short. I'm 5'11" 3x4" in barefoot, and 6' in boots and regular shoes. Been buzzing my head since I was 17 cause I needed a haircut for my high school baseball hat to fit and I never went back, haven't paid for a hair cut in 11 years. Got a nice beard that I've grown this year for the first time in my life so I'm milking that too. Wife loves the buzzcut and beard combo

I train for powerlifting so I've gotten a little thicker over the years. I'm about 245ish now and in 40 sized jeans. Genetically, I'm just wide though so I might be in 40s regardless honestly. Wife doesn't quite love my weight but she understood and accepted it a while ago and we both know it won't last forever so it's fine for now.

Each time some health related conversation comes up, she never fails to subtly toss in there "ya know you might feel just a little better if you lost a couple lbs" I know lol. I've been snoring quite a bit the last few nights and she told me I might need a CPAP here soon. Told her it wasn't gonna happen and she said "okay, well then you may need to lose some weight to avoid it" god dammit lol

I was diagnosed with sleep apnea 16 yrs ago after doing the overnight sleep study deal. Got set up with a c-pap machine within a week and have never looked back. Wouldn’t think of falling asleep without it now.

I would caution you to talk to yore doc and have the sleep study done if yore doc thinks you should. Nothing to mess around with.

I’ve had two (sleep apnea-diagnosed) clients die in their sleep simply because they didn’t want to use their c-pap. Thought it was a nuisance/ pain in the ass.

Nothing to mess around with, imo.

My father in law uses a CPAP and loves it. Has to have it everywhere or he can't sleep. My dad has been encouraged to get a sleep test in case he needs one and simply refuses due to pride/stubbornness.

I won't be as thick as I am forever. It's been on purpose putting the size on and it's been a multi-year process. I love being strong because I was the smallest kid in my friend group growing up so I'm just trying to ride the wave until my body says I can't anymore. Feeling how I feel already at 28, I don't think it'll last quite as long as I originally anticipated when I started Powerlifting about 5 years ago.
