For some reason I think Matt just nonverbally got told to sit his ass in the back of the classroom while the adults talk with this hire. I think Scott and Turd are on the same level intellectually but Turd won't be Frost's drinking buddy, but an actual boss. And Matt will be told to present himself, and the N, better at public functions.

So curious, for those who may know Turd personally or just heard things through the rumor mill, whatever, or were paying attention to him at UNO, whatever, what does this mean for Frost now?


To me, feels like Turd would want him to succeed because of the back story and what it would mean for Frost and the program as a whole. Also, based on his presser, it doesn't seem he'll be afraid to hold Scott accountable and put him in his place if need be. Demand results. Does this still give Frost the job stability he had under Moos or is there more pressure now? I do feel like there is a tad more pressure but only because Turd will demand results instead of saying "Scott needs more time to get things established."

I actually believe that because other than Mark May nobody else on that set would have ever said anything.

I also agree with part of his argument on the 1971 Nebraska team. (not a chance in hell they beat 04 USC)

I was looking at some data analytics peoples’ attempt at comparing across eras of college football. With what they came up with it was the 95 team as the best of all time, the 2019 LSU team, and the 2001 Miami team as the top three. Our 95 team was the best, but I may be misremembering the order of the other two. Their analytics actually suggested our 95 offense was better than LSU’s 19 unit.
