Watched the week 2 presser. Some thoughts

Yes. But we were all accepting of Rhule's track record since day 1. The only reason it's now an issue is because of how we lost. Had it have been 14 or 17 points or whatever, it's another loss and we all accept it's a rebuild. But, a bad redzone decision, Sims' turnovers, and Grant in the game with a fumble all of a sudden changes the storyline completely from the last 8 months or whatever it's been.

That's funny to me
Just because fans were expecting a lesser of a season in the first year, doesn’t mean we should accept frost like finishes. That first game was a frost like finish.

Just the opposite. Rhule is clearly successful. I was disagreeing with the OP.
The problem is I didn't say Rhule doesn't think we CAN win. But if you watched that and think he's confident we will win then I'd like to invite you to my poker home game. Every other Friday. I'll send directions if you want them.

The irony of you posting this will still be lost on you even after I point it out.

I’ve always been of the opinion that deriving a damn thing from a presser post or pre game is absolutely ridiculous. Show me what is ironic about that stance.

You making grand conclusions about Saturday’s outcome based on a Monday presser is one of the dumber things we’ve read this week.

Tell us some more about how Frost will turn it around and how dumb it was to question that. Take your pre packaged optimism and stuff it. Just because you have no idea how to read body language and what is and isn't said by a guy like Rhule doesn't mean I'm the dumb one here.

That's what I thought and I re-read it more than once, but wasn't quite connecting the dots. Danke!

Can we all lie so that we can get invited to poker night at a Chef's home?

What answers or body language did you see during that Q&A to indicate a lack of confidence?

I wasn’t even being snarky at first.

Please give me your body language tips weekly across the board so that I can place wagers based on such quality intel from a professional body language reader like yourself here.

Will you be available when the assistant coaches are interviewed? I’d really like you to break those down and see if they are any different from Rhule’s and tell me what all of it means.

“Hey I know I said something dumb but you’ve said something dumb in the past too” isn’t the sick burn you think it is.

Again, you can derive nothing from a monday presser.

First presser that Rhule didn't smile once for easy starters. Watching someone's eyes before and after a question gets answered can be very telling. In this one he rarely looked at the person who asked the question whlle they were asking. That doesn't mean he was lying. To the contrary I think he was both honest and correct in all of his answers. What that indicates to me is how he feels about having to give the answers he did.

And so much of what he said was directed toward the mental aspect of the game. When the coach said "We have to make it about just football" he's right. That's his main concern is if the team will handle the moment. Not a good thing to be worried about.

Again your opinions are valueless. You probably said this the two dozen times we pointed out how depressed Scott Frost seemed to be during his pressers. You have one view and nothing changes it. "ALL IS WELL la la la I can't heaaar you" All else from you is fitting everything into the idea that your being eternally optimistic somehow affects anything.

If your opinion is you can garner the outcome of a game on Saturday from the Monday presser in which you’ve got very limited context or intel on you can’t tell anyone that their opinion is valueless.

It's my opinion that Rhule doesn't have a lot of confidence in a win. Doesn't mean I know what's going to happen. Keep on making shit up.
