Sign Up Now!Big fan on their Single Barrel. Always pick up one after I finish the other. Heaven Hill is probably my second favorite distillery behind Willett. Gone through multiple handles of Evan’s black label. Here are the Evan’s I was able to pull out of the collection easily.Im probably the only ass hole in this thread that doesn't mind an Evan Williams Old fashion.
I joined high west saloon society. I get 3-4 bottles every quarter ish. I also really like their Double Rye so I normally just get thatAnyone in Nebraska ever order direct from a distillery and/or store from outside the state? I have personally never tried, always heard of liquor bottles getting confiscated (this is more of a decade ago type rumor).
That being said Ive seen Brewzle saying he is able to ship to most states? So maybe missed a law reversal? Also anyone ever try a Brewzle single barrel/bottle pick.
I have wondered about this too—does like UPS or FedEx care if I ship a bottle to someone?Anyone in Nebraska ever order direct from a distillery and/or store from outside the state? It’s legal in Nebraska to receive alcohol from licensed sellers. Have done it a few times from Smoke Wagon before they distributed in Nebraska.Anyone in Nebraska ever order direct from a distillery and/or store from outside the state? Just be sure to tell them it’s olive oil if they ask. It is not legal for you to ship.I have wondered about this too—does like UPS or FedEx care if I ship a bottle to someone?
In one of the groups I’m in a guy kept telling the ups store that he was shipping homemade hot sauce. Eventually the worker there started asking if he could bring him some to try, so this guy had to actually make his own hot sauce to bring the ups guy one lolJust be sure to tell them it’s olive oil if they ask. Not sure about direct from a distillery, but I have ordered online from Flaviar and Caskcartel.com. Not sure if it’s only certain “online licensed” dealers that can ship to Nebraska or what the law is. Last couple of years my wife has ordered a whiskey advent calendar from Flaviar for my dad and I and it clearly says whiskey on it.Anyone in Nebraska ever order direct from a distillery and/or store from outside the state? I would be down. Depends on the cost though.Who all would be interested in doing a tPB barrel pick? Premium drams said they could probably support it. Obviously if it was from them the cost wouldn’t be cheap so we’d have to do what we could to spread it out. But they have really good shit.
They also said they were in the process of buying a distillery that had been doing well. He gave me the name but will hold that for now. Will just say they are in KY and nationally distributed. Most of their bottles are $100 for base brand. So, if that goes through it would likely be their juice. Ideally we find a way to nab some Willett.

As for an old fashioned, pretty much anything will do. I’m not picky. Whatever bottle I’m trying to get rid of because my four book cases are spilling over onto the floor. But lately it’s been the Jefferson Bourbon. They started doing 1.75s and I like their bottle shape. Cool to have a big bottle like that. And it’ll do fine for an OF.
