Need to try a bottle some time. Have a matching pair of rabbit hole glens. Can’t remember exactly how I got them, but it definitely involved contacting rabbit hole somehow and they sending them for free including shipping. Need to pay them back by buying something of theirs.

Everything we’ve tried of Rabbit Hole so far has been good. Their cavehill four grain bourbon is excellent ($60) The boxer girl rye was OK ($40). All three of them I felt was pretty appropriately priced for their quality.

Just god a standard Knob Creek 9 year for a secret santa and it was absolutely delicious in particular for being 100 proof. Been trying to dive into some different bourbons and any suggestions would be appreciated. (In Omaha Area)

Also the new(ish) Total Wine has been great in finding some great deals, Woodford Reserve 1.75 for $50 is a bargain.

Love knob creek 120 proof single barrels. Costco in Omaha has them now. Love 4 roses- small batch, small batch select, single barrels, and especially the barrel proof single barrels, wall to wall in papillion has those now. Holladay is also worth a try. Should be readily available at any major store in Omaha. All our good, I like the soft red wheat the best. Love wheated bourbons.

I’ve been wanting to stop back at the Cornhusker bottle shop and get one of the Holladay bourbons ever since you mentioned them. My little town doesn’t really carry anything like that, probably stop there tomorrow while we are in town for Christmas at my in-laws and get one. I saw there was multiple ones that they make, my dad and I usually like to keep it at maximum 100 proof since we tend to drink it neat. Are any of theirs that low proof?

Drink almost everything neat, higher proof the better. Started with ice but switched to neat. Occasionally I’ll put 2-3 drops of water in.

As far as Holladay, think all of their stuff is 100 proof other than the rickhouse proof. The bottled bond ones are definitely 100 proof, part of being bottled in bond is 100 proof, aged at least 4 years in federally bonded warehouse, and distilled during the same season at a single distillery

Especially all 8 letters. You can buy them from the distillery if you want to cheat.

Also if you have all 8 you can mail them to the distillery and they will send them back mounted in a stave from a blantons barrel for free.
