Does this mean there is a real chance Chubba could possibly start? I'd guess we'd have the element of surprise, at least.
***Rhule said they would continue to evaluate Heinrich Haarberg and Jeff Sims in practice this week. He added that NU was still evaluating Haarberg's health after leaving the Louisiana Tech game with an injury. They don't think it's anything serious, but they're keeping an eye on it.
***Rhule said a couple of Nebraska's three allowed sacks resulted from Haarberg holding the ball too long on an RPO when he should've handed it off or thrown the ball away.
***While Rhule likes what Haarberg has done, he said: "We still have a lot of coaching to do" with him. The good news is that Haarberg wasn't "too sensitive to coach" and understood that he still had a lot of improvement to make.
***Like the past two weeks, Rhule said they would play the quarterback "who gives us the best chance to win" vs. Michigan. All three QBs would get reps, and the staff would evaluate them all week before making a final decision on a starter."For me to sit up here on Monday and say I don’t know… this isn’t gamesmanship."
