Great read

Best part IMO: “One of the biggest problems with the US economy right now is that it’s so much more difficult to produce goods and services.

Over the past few years, the people in charge have put up endless road blocks and obstacles for small business.

They vanquished the labor market and made it all but impossible to find workers. They destroyed the supply chain. They engineered historically high inflation. They came up with a myriad of costly new environmental and public health rules.

On top of that they constantly create new rules and regulations, many of which step far beyond the government’s authority.

(Last year, for example, the CDC Director decided in her sole discretion that she controlled the entire $10+ trillion US housing market.)”

Normative nonsense, imo. Also, a terribly clunky article...but what you should probably expect with ZeroHedge.

You just have to look at production rates of Durable Goods and Services both in manufacturing orders and in the Gross Domestic Product report to completely debunk the central theme to this article. Additionally, business applications are 30% above trend...so these roadblocks and obstacles don't seem to be working. Hiring still remains a problem for Leisure and Hospitality but almost all other sectors have recovered in terms of labor employment.

And a lot of that is just because they didn't know what demand was gonna be like this summer, badly misjudged, and then had to scramble to find workers.

I’d think you Biden boys would show more appreciation for the L&H industry since it’s 1 of the 2 things that is taking heat off your boy.

PS: please stop shooting the messenger

Well, it's good that L&H gained 96k jobs...they are now only ~1.2 million jobs away from getting to pre-pandemic levels. Looks like even though those highlighted sectors lost jobs, they still are above pre-pandemic employment levels though. Either way, none of this will improve the quality or accuracy of the article you posted previously, I don't believe! Lol.
