Lincoln, Herbie, Tommie are all Husker related names.

Just a bad opinion to have. Horrid. Abhorrent. Asinine.

Labs are as inbred as anything. They're completely fucking nuts until they're about 3 or 4. Once you get to that point they're the best dogs in existence.
Not the ones we had. Easy as hell to find good breeder. All you have to do is look at the parents. Don’t buy one with huge head. Don’t buy one that is skinny. Buy one that’s parents look like the dogs on the Ducks Unlimited catalog.

I had this question as well. Since the one we're getting is a 2nd generation mini, apparently it should be pretty small? WTF do I know though.

Crapshoot in my experience. Our first one was supposed to be a mini and she was around 55-60 pounds most of her adult life. The pup was supposed to be big as hell, standard golden retriever and standard poodle parents, and she's also about 60 pounds. You can get teacup goldendoodles too though now I guess that top out around 10-15 pounds.

I suggest spending some quality time watching Zak George on YouTube for dog training info. Especially his series The Dog Training experience, where he himself gets a new puppy. It starts from day one with the new puppy, and shows all the stuff he went through for training for like the first ten months, including some stuff that was a struggle.

My wife has a golden doodle, female. Honestly, she sucks. Tries to fight my 9 year old lab all the time. She’s about 2. When he gets sick of her shit and snaps back, she whimpers and acts sad, then pounces on him again when he isn’t looking. Terrorists is pretty accurate. Yes, she’s been through classes

I'd check out a mini schnauzer and they don't shed hair either. They range anywhere from 14 to 22 lbs. If you are going for a name Husker related, go with Rex or Herbie.

Outside of driving around with it, which you will almost certainly lose out on in the long run, you were smart to include stipulations that you actually have control over. Not dumb shit like "you kids will take care of it" because that literally never happens

I have sworn forever we weren't getting a pet. My kids and wife have officially worn me down and we are getting a dog.
I had to set some parameters:
-I'm not driving around everywhere with a dog, it stays at home
-Hypoallergenic
-Small because it's probably going to be in the house a lot
-I get to name it

Mrs. Bootleg decided she wanted a mini goldendoodle.

So what is a good dog name for a mini goldendoodle? Let's get husker related.
I'm in your boat, but we've got a pretty good sized property, got a Pyralab. First 6 weeks have been challenging, but she's getting better.
