Proud Dad Moments?

I was watching my 4 and 3 year old boys playing with my old power ranger action figures from when I was a kid tonight. It really hits you how fast life moves
It's an awesome mix of nostalgia and pride watching your kids enjoy the toys and shows you loved as a kid. My 3 year old was so excited to watch the Power Rangers reunion and play Sonic on the Sega with me the other day. It was so peaceful.

We watched that reunion the other day too!

Yeah my kids were playing with my old Ghostbuster and Ninja Turtle cars in the driveway yesterday. So much fun to see.

My father in law has one of the old like arcade pac man multi game set up deals in his basement. I think that’s still a tad before my time but my daughter loves it and it makes life seem much simpler from time to time

Daughter lost in tennis. Son thought it would be a good idea to share his photo of the Washington monument. Jim household with a bad day.

Daughter’s birthday party tomorrow. My parents hate each other and will be under the same roof for a few hours. I never look forward to it. Am considering getting a light buzz going before hand
keep living the dream farmer

Yeah, it was awkward as expected. They were a couple of the first to show up

Not much better than watching your kids grow up and being proud of them.

We are currently in track season. My 7th grader won shotput yesterday at a fairly competitive middle school meet. My 5th grader won shot put on Saturday and got 2nd in the "turbo javelin" and my 2nd grader got 3rd in long jump and turbo javelin.

In reality, them winning or placing is meaningless. Small track meets in rural Kansas, 1 year from now..who cares? But I'm always proud to watch my kids compete. Very fun time, hate that it will be over some day.

1st time he got a 34. 2nd time 36.
That’s insane. Good news for you is that he may now be a viable candidate for many incredibly expensive colleges and universities, where need-based financial assistance will ensure that you pay full tuition!

Kinda hoping white male wins the day so I don't have to make that choice.

Gender is a construct, Jim. If your child is serious about their education then they’ll lean into that fluidity.
Good point. I'll get him wearing dresses and started on medication right away.
