Proud Dad Moments?

I’ll draft an email on how I’m planning to explain that situation to my wife, and you can reply with any notes you have.
I'm no longer from corporate, but I AM here to help! Educating and illuminating folks on the use of firearms in support of our enumerated right to self-defense and for sport (hunting, plinking, competitive shooting, trap, etc.) is a conversation I'm always happy to engage in. Firearms - handguns in particular - are a great "equalizer" for the younger, weaker more vulnerable segments of our populace when facing down a predator.

There's a reason I've made sure my own daughter is comfortable in the safe handling and use of firearms, because you never know when you'll need 'em, and I hope in the name of all things Holy that she never does. And - in the spirit of the proud Dad moments thread - he's a pic of her putting lead on target at the Ben Avery range just outside of the Phoenix metro area earlier this year:

I made a scene and threw my sons iPad away this morning knowing I’d grab it out of the trash and just hide it in my desk until he earned it back.

My dumbass forgot that I cleaned up dog diarrhea 10 minutes before that temper tantrum and was about to take the trash out before my brilliant dad move.

Never thought I’d be cleaning dog shit off an iPad, but here we are.

I haven't experienced that situation, but can definitely relate to losing my shit like that... I intentionally kept an old cell phone around that looked like my son's. It came in handy when I lost my shit about some stuff he had done on his phone and he saw me taking a hammer to what he thought was his phone...

Thankfully when making the switch from one in my pocket to pocketing his, I did it right... 🙂
