Are there even fish left in that lake these days? When I lived in the Twin Cities in the late '80's most of the avid fishermen I knew said it was about "fished out" back then. That didn't stop them from setting up their ice huts in the winter to get away from their wives on weekends, but nobody ever talked about how great the fishing was.
The concentration of men in ice huts did spawn other 'satellite industries', however. They all talked about the random knocks on the door with female inquires, "Are y'all looking for a date?" Apparently, the hookers would migrate up there on weekends to take advantage of the prospective audience. I always found that amusing and inspiring: capitalism at it's finest, IMO.
