Volleyball Fuck Turd Thread: Nebraska vs A&M

Better team won yesterday and maybe the SEC was just better this year than the big 10. Not sure what Andi's issues were but she wasn't right and Bergan was just ok. At times, I thought sets were a little low or predictable. In any event volleyball is a game of matchups and momentum. After the 10-0 run in the 1st set they ran with it. As my daughter who played for a D-2 championship says the game is still won at the net and they were better.

I’m still in shock. I still think we got caught up in the perfect storm of injuries/illness and frankly getting outschemed.

I told my wife I knew we were screwed when DBK said, when asked by the ABC reporter when was discussed with the team after the 2nd set, something along the lines of “We just need to keep doing what we do best.”

In my humble opinion, that was the wrong answer. What you did best was not working, so why keep doing what wasn’t working? Just seems a touch arrogant to me.

Maybe the team just wasn’t as good as we thought.

Sucks real bad.

But it’s basketball season now and we have a great team.

Also well on our way to the football offseason national championship once again.

You could tell A&M practiced against our slide and we couldn’t or wouldn’t adjust.

And the first two sets our blocking was absolute shit.

I’m super excited about Nebrasketball and the upcoming bowl game (initially my phone autocorrected to “bowel game” lol) which is essentially a pre-spring ball scrimmage.

I have been getting really into volleyball with my daughter going into her third year of travel volleyball. It’s a great bonding thing for us and we watched every single game together.

Still excited for next year with Bergen, Harper, Andi, and Laney all coming back.

Absolutely. Andi said that A&M’s coach was her coach I think it was at the national level. If there’s anybody who can scheme against her it was him.
