How did you breathe? I think biking up a mountain at 11k feet would kill me.

21 was the biggest. Pretty consistent 17-19 though. No on the trolling. Casting the jerk baits into points.
I am not a fan of trolling. Proud of you on that one. Those are pretty good eaters. I missed a big one at Oahe. I had one follow all the way to the boat, it would have been the biggest walleye I’ve ever caught. It made my heart pump and I almost threw my rod in the water. I threw in a mepps to try for a smallmouth since I wasn’t doing great on walleye and it surprised me. Boats were slowly going by with bottom bouncers not catching anything and we were the only ones casting cranks at the time. “the one that got away”

still bothers me

this was the biggest we got a picture of at 21” but I’m pretty sure it was a female that just dropped her eggs. She was skinny. I think I had one 23 and a 24, but most were like 13-16.
We caught a lot of skinny ones too. The ones you think aren't going to make 15 and it ends up being 17 1/2

Went out fishing for a bit yesterday. There are king salmon in this stream but they haven’t made it this high yet also recent rains made the stream pretty sketchy to wade. Hopefully next summer I’ll have a raft.
