There up to snake creek. Was ok. Not great. Jerk bait in 7-12 on the points is the only way we really caught them. We’re you fishing Fort Randall?

Any larger fish? Trolling? There up to snake creek. Was ok. Not great. Jerk bait in 7-12 on the points is the only way we really caught them.
21 was the biggest. Pretty consistent 17-19 though. No on the trolling. Casting the jerk baits into points.Any larger fish? Trolling?
I am not a fan of trolling. Proud of you on that one. Those are pretty good eaters. I missed a big one at Oahe. I had one follow all the way to the boat, it would have been the biggest walleye I’ve ever caught. It made my heart pump and I almost threw my rod in the water. I threw in a mepps to try for a smallmouth since I wasn’t doing great on walleye and it surprised me. Boats were slowly going by with bottom bouncers not catching anything and we were the only ones casting cranks at the time. “the one that got away”21 was the biggest. Pretty consistent 17-19 though. We caught a lot of skinny ones too. The ones you think aren't going to make 15 and it ends up being 17 1/2View attachment 3360
this was the biggest we got a picture of at 21” but I’m pretty sure it was a female that just dropped her eggs. She was skinny. I think I had one 23 and a 24, but most were like 13-16.
Did you get a deer hunting or fishing game for it?Just bout an Xbox.
It’s really not so bad, if you accept you are going to be a lot slower than at sea level. It’s all about proper pacing to make sure you don’t go into the red. It’s a lot harder to recover from hard efforts. How did you breathe? I think biking up a mountain at 11k feet would kill me.
I truly dislike you at times. Just jealous!Pretty nice day for some golf. It was 62 degrees but the grass doesn’t really come in well until July.

I’d probably be fishing, but that’s a beautiful backdrop for a course. DamnPretty nice day for some golf. It was 62 degrees but the grass doesn’t really come in well until July.

Went out fishing for a bit yesterday. There are king salmon in this stream but they haven’t made it this high yet also recent rains made the stream pretty sketchy to wade. Hopefully next summer I’ll have a raft.

Willow. It’s almost unwadeable in parts. Hopefully I can get a raft by next summer.Which creek is that?
