Lettuce discuss Whipple's offense

Can we also just acknowledge that Winter (for whatever reason) has moved back 3 weeks so College teams are never going to see below freezing temps at kickoff time anymore. Especially in Nebraska.

There’s plenty of fine arguments on why to prefer a run heavy offense (I disagree with all of them), weather is not one of them.
I think we settled this last night with "run it however much you want, just don't fucking suck at it"

PAP Fade to the bottom... Screen to the top. Timing is just off a touch on the back shoulder throw

Just flipping through some of their games....

Looks like they love to run this levels concept.

@slattimer Whats the QBs progression here? Is he going Hi to low? Post to dig to drag?

Feel like I need to make a contribution to this thread, so here goes...

A man needs 2 tickets to Pittsburgh, so he approaches the ticket desk and encounters a rather large-breasted women behind the counter.

"I need 2 pickets to Tittsburgh" he says.

"Excuse me?" the ticket lady says, slightly offended.

"I'm sorry," the man replies. "I've been messing up my words all day. Why just this morning I meant to ask my wife 'Honey would you pass the sugar?', but instead I said "You fucking bitch, you ruined my life!'"

Another well known college team .

@God is a Husker

- Greatest QB of all time who has started in the NFL longer than College kids have been alive

- Greatest head coach of all time

I agree, should be easy to replicate with Casey Thompson or Smothers. 20 hours of practice per week should be more than enough time for idiot players to learn the offense and run it successfully.

TL;DR: NE is a good comp to NE in abbreviation only.

I know @slattimer has said OZ can be a very expensive play to have in your portfolio.

So I wonder if he thinks buck sweep is his way to attack the edge.
Could be. Although I think Buck is more of a c gap run. But it can hit d gap. But you can find other ways to hit the edge fast than running some type of outside or wide zone
