Y'all are completely missing the pre-board process as yet another irritant associated w/flying:
And without exception, they have no idea how to board. Like seemingly never been on a plane before.
It’s unreal.

I had a bunch of morons on this mornings flight. A couple that had seats in row 8 decided walk all the way to row 20ish before realizing they walked way past their seats. And without exception, they have no idea how to board. Like seemingly never been on a plane before.
It’s unreal.
The percentage of people that can take letters A-F and deduce which side of the plane their sitting in is absurdly low (or even if they're aisle, middle or window)Then a dumbass was in my seat. Fools everywhere today!

This is what worries me. Think of how dumb the "average" person is, and then realize that half the people are dumber than that. And these dipshitz vote, operate motor vehicles, reproduce and generally gum up the works for anyone with a brain.

Should be permanent blacklist from all airlines.
While I'm really sorry because that sucks, what you're describing happens on every single airline every single day.Today, I booked a flight from San Francisco to DC on United Airlines. The plane was first scheduled to depart at 11:00 pm, delayed by one and a half hours, than delayed AGAIN scheduled to leave at 2:50 am. Then I find out that the plane has been delayed until 12 pm the next day. A whole 13 HOUR DELAY. I ended up rebooking to an earlier flight tomorrow, but I have never seen such incompetence from an airline and in saying this I am NEVER flying on United Airlines again.

I was living large when I got to book all my business travel on my personal credit cards. Company forced us to use their crappy green Corp Amex for all expenses in 2024. Huge blow to my point accumulationJust an aside, but it’s pretty incredible how many “free” flights you can get per year on points/miles transferring Chase/AMEX points to United, Delta, Air Canada, etc. Cash savings well worth paying the annual fee for those cards if you’re traveling personally quite a bit
Thats what I do and its a total game changer, really don’t pay for flights ever anymore including from CLT-Maldives in Qatar Q-Suite and First Class from DOH-MLE.I was living large when I got to book all my business travel on my personal credit cards. Lucky. Another huge blow was making us book all travel through stupid Egencia .. used to book hotels through AAdvantage/delta hotels and rack up a ton of miles/loyalty points.Thats what I do and its a total game changer, really don’t pay for flights ever anymore including from CLT-Maldives in Qatar Q-Suite and First Class from DOH-MLE.
