Let’s talk airline travel: What pisses you off?

And without exception, they have no idea how to board. Like seemingly never been on a plane before.

It’s unreal.
I had a bunch of morons on this mornings flight. A couple that had seats in row 8 decided walk all the way to row 20ish before realizing they walked way past their seats.

Then a dumbass was in my seat. Fools everywhere today!

They think airplane seating is a FFA. No. just, no! Get out of my seat, weasel!

Your fat ass should have been ticketed twice for all the space you take-up.

These types are always libtards! The ones who want free shit and throw a temper tantrum.

Life is not fair butternuts! Trump is your President, fuck yeah!

And these dipshitz vote, operate motor vehicles, reproduce and generally gum up the works for anyone with a brain.
This is what worries me. Think of how dumb the "average" person is, and then realize that half the people are dumber than that.

Accurate.

I’m concerned that I’m running into ‘average stupid’ on the regular, and the really stupid just have trouble getting out and about, but I don’t know.

Today, I booked a flight from San Francisco to DC on United Airlines. The plane was first scheduled to depart at 11:00 pm, delayed by one and a half hours, than delayed AGAIN scheduled to leave at 2:50 am. Then I find out that the plane has been delayed until 12 pm the next day. A whole 13 HOUR DELAY. I ended up rebooking to an earlier flight tomorrow, but I have never seen such incompetence from an airline and in saying this I am NEVER flying on United Airlines anytime soon.

While I'm really sorry because that sucks, what you're describing happens on every single airline every single day.

Not a fan of United personally but if a delay like that is enough to piss you off, you're eventually going pissed off at every airline if you fly enough

Just an aside, but it’s pretty incredible how many “free” flights you can get per year on points/miles transferring Chase/AMEX points to United, Delta, Air Canada, etc. Cash savings well worth paying the annual fee for those cards if you’re traveling personally quite a bit

One of their DEI pilots probably crash landed again.
Thought and prayers to anyone that flys united

The thing that pisses me off is the part where you go and jump through all their hoops, then fly somewhere, then do it all over again to get home. Basically only the things that happen between arriving and departing the airport.

I was living large when I got to book all my business travel on my personal credit cards. Company forced us to use their crappy green Corp Amex for all expenses in 2024. Huge blow to my point accumulation

Thats what I do and its a total game changer, really don’t pay for flights ever anymore including from CLT-Maldives in Qatar Q-Suite and First Class from DOH-MLE.

Lucky. Another huge blow was making us book all travel through stupid Egencia .. used to book hotels through AAdvantage/delta hotels and rack up a ton of miles/loyalty points.
