Sign Up Now!I didn't do the research. Someone else put that table together@Kaladin by doing your B10 experience research, do you happen to know the age of each B10 team's youngest coach? Just genuinely curious if more guys in their 20s are being thrown to the wolves these days.
You guys are missing the main advantage of hiring a WR coach this young......
....... he's probably not married yet so no wife to choke.
God you're worthlessI didn't do the research. Someone else put that table together
whyGod you're worthless
I just realized the 4D chess being played here by Rhule going with a child coach...
Who better to coach WR than a guy who hasn't dropped any balls??
What is an “assistant OL coach” on the college level when all 10 full time positions have been filled?I am hoping to be able to share who this friend is that I've mentioned before, but I can tell you that he has been offered head OL coach positions at other schools but may take an assistant OL coach position at Nebraska because he wants to be a part of Rhule's staff. The point being that if Rhule is taking young guys, it's because they fit his criteria, not because he's desperate for coaches. I'm not saying they will all work out - they rarely all do. But I'll take a young, hungry staff right now that fits Rhule's standards and know his culture.
This is pretty mind bottling:With close friend as position coach, Nebraska is familiar spot for Baylor transfer Josh Fleeks
Josh Fleeks didn't expect it would come full circle like this. He's joining the program that nearly flipped him in high school and reuniting with Matt Rhule. Plus his positionomaha.com
somebody posted, on Rivals if I recall correctly, that McGuire's job with the Panthers the last two years was to provide on-field WR coaching assistance to first Frisman Jackson and then Joe DaileyThis is pretty mind bottling:
His new position coach at receiver, 23-year-old Garret McGuire — Joey’s son — was the longtime backup quarterback at Cedar Hill and Baylor, and a year ahead of him in school at both.
They went to high school and college together, with McGuire being one grade ahead of Fleeks. 😳
Grad assistant - I think this was the guy in that role last yearWhat is an “assistant OL coach” on the college level when all 10 full time positions have been filled?
Is he going to be a grad assistant?
Or an analyst that can’t actually coach players?
Guess going younger for coaches is gaining more and more steam.

Incorrect. We want at LEAST 70 year old position coaches.Look at McVay, Lincoln Riley, etc.
If a guy has been a position coach for 10+ years and hasn’t risen any farther, that probably tells you something…
Why do we need 70 babies as coaches?Incorrect. We want at LEAST 70 year old position coaches.
Bring back George Darlington!Incorrect. We want at LEAST 70 year old position coaches.
If 70 babies fuse into one super saiyan baby then that super saiyan baby can do the coaching work of at least 5 adult coachesWhy do we need 70 babies as coaches?
