I think there is a real chance McGuire is still with the Panthers next year in a new position with greater responsibility. The reason he and Dvoracek haven't been named is that Steve Wilks hasn't been fired and won't release them - he wants them to stay. If Wilks keeps the job and can give McGuirfe a job that is competitive with the opportunity Nebraska proposed for McGuire, he will likely be at Carolina (my opinion)

Wilks may not be fired, either. His interview with Tepper is today. He has gathered a lot of support among fans and the team. Tepper's issue is he wants a focus on offense.

seriously, he was at the women's gym meet Saturday and presumably with Rouse over the weekend, too

Part of his reason to be in Charlotte Monday and/or Tuesday was likely to catch up with those guys. Interesting

My question to you oh McGuire is how is it going to go recruiting a 4 star WR out of Alabama or a receiver out of CA or OH. His name means nothing there. I hope I'm wrong but I imagine we are hiring a new WR coach in a couple years
