There was also a pride/relational piece of that related to JSU being an HBCU that certainly doesn’t exist in Boulder. I’m not saying that he won’t recruit well to Boulder - he will. But you’re also understating the school he was recruiting to and how that pitch is different than convincing kids to go to Boulder.
