Really don't understand what Sanders is doing. He has run out most all of the talent that was on that team. Next season is going to be rough, he will have no depth at all. I could understand if it was a long term approach but a lot of the guys he's bringing in only have 1 year left. Sanders is going to have to get a lot of new players again next year. Odd approach that doesn't look like it will have a high chance of success.

At least it makes it interesting to watch. One of my favorite things to do after a Nebraska win is watch Colorado get blown out. Really hate that team and happy with how things look for their future.

we have to hope that flood gate for wavers is still open for our stud TE transfer Arik Gilbert. Excited to see what he can bring both with blocking and receiving. No DB is looking forward to tackling that big ole Mac Truck running full speed at him.

#2ndChoice would have been a solid hire that I would have been very excited for. However, Rhule was #1 for me. You talk about a proven, sustained winner. Well Rhule is a proven program builder. And before we can become a sustained winner, we need to be rebuilt. Rhule was the perfect hire, IMO, and no one can convince me otherwise. That isn't to say that he is a for sure thing and he 100% will get this thing turned around - I'm done thinking that about anyone. But at the time of the hire, he was the right hire.

109 day right now. Planted some 108 day yesterday, and some 112 the day before that. This is definitely the worst day to be planting as far as the 48 hour temps go, but once you start it’s hard to stop. I was actually all for being patient but the old man kinda pushed the timeframe ahead. It probably wasn’t a bad idea, it’s so dry here, you gotta go at least 2 and 1/2 inches down to get everything in moisture. Might as well get it in while there is a little moisture there.
