Psshhhh, the guy was a no-name recruit who went on to break the single season passing record by almost 400 yards!I'd have to think about this to come up with a better answer. But my immediate thought is Joe Ganz.

Did you really watch us play football when he was there?Jason Peter- played sparingly his senior year and was drafted early off of roids and opioids.
Don't mess with ThrowGod ☠️Harrison Beck - Following his recruitment got me started on message boards.
Zac Lee - I remember wanting to jump threw my tv too beat his ass!
I don't have a solid one but could name a few at each position over the last 25yrs.
Yeah, I think people pile on him for what a crackpot he is post-NU career. While he was at NU he was a beast in the interior DL.Did you really watch us play football when he was there?
I remember a player who played with Farley saying he had to be high to practice. When he wasn’t high he had his worst practices. This guy started three years and thought Farley was a great player, but I thought that was common knowledge.Farley was a game changer. I remember someone on those teams saying he was a horrible practice player, but absolutely flipped a switch when the bright lights came on. I loved watching him play.
My heretical Nebraska take is that Suh was slightly overrated. A great player who should have won the Heisman, but piled up stats in a couple games, and dominated McCoy & Texas so memorably that people think he was that dominant every game. More a case of the folklore getting swept away than any real negatives about him.
If you want to go after over rated interiors, I think you have to look at Jared Crick. Seemed like a good dude and was definitely a solid player, but there's no way he's setting sack records unless he's lined up next to Suh.Yeah, I think people pile on him for what a crackpot he is post-NU career. Looks like he is the same player. 2009 he had the 1 game against Baylor where he had the 5 sacks. Pretty steady presence in the middle. If you want to go after over rated interiors, I think you have to look at Jared Crick. I said no offense my guy to be fairBro…
So I guess the question is are we basing "overrated" on how highly touted they were coming vs their production? Or is it the perception people have of the players (they aren't really as good as people remember them to be)?
I assumed the later, remembered better than actually was.So I guess the question is are we basing "overrated" on how highly touted they were coming vs their production? Or is it the perception people have of the players (they aren't really as good as people remember them to be)?
Pretty easy to find overrated recruits. You could easily create a top 100 of those.I assumed the later, remembered better than actually was.
If not as good as they were touted then wouldn't it be most overrated recruit?
The craziest thing about Crick is that his dad is probably 5’8 150.Looks like he is the same player. 2009 he had the 1 game against Baylor where he had the 5 sacks. Pretty steady presence in the middle.
2009 (With Suh)
