Who is the most overrated player in Nebraska Football History?

Yup, I lived in the ATL from 91-96 and you heard a lot of anti-Husker crowing only because he was a big bust (and we were on a bowl losing streak, lost to GT, etc). Only when we started our run in 93 did the natives stop giving me grief.
He was super fast but was like 5’9” or 5’10”. I think he got abused by the taller receivers, even at that time.

Odd for you as 1/2 of ATL could give a shit about the Falcons, and the other half barely cares about the only year GT has ever been elite in CFB…-

We lost 2 games in 1996…Farley didn’t play in either. Im not saying we would have won either with him, but you never know. I’ve never seen a Husker defensive player make more game-changing plays than Farley.

As the Legendary Keith Jackson put it when we played CU in 95’: “Tomich and Wistrom are good…but Farley is The Man.”

Honestly it’s hard to even comprehend how ludicrous the statement is. In my lifetime the only LB I’ve seen better is LaVonte David. I don’t care about stats…tell me who impacted games.

Adam Carriker

Dude was a physical freak, which made him a first rounder. But a young Goskers07 was very confused when he was drafted that high as he didn't seem to have a ton of production. He was a good player, no doubt, but never seemed to be that guy that popped on some bad defenses.

I don't get the Joe Ganz references. He wasn't a highly regarded recruit, was underrated in the fact he should have started over Sam Keller in 2007 (coincidentally, a HIGHLY overrated QB) and was a very efficient QB as a senior starter in 2008.

He was a good QB. Not great, but I've never heard anyone call him that.
If we had Joe Ganz in 09 we could have won the national championship
