Who is the most overrated player in Nebraska Football History?

I don't get the Joe Ganz references. He wasn't a highly regarded recruit, was underrated in the fact he should have started over Sam Keller in 2007 (coincidentally, a HIGHLY overrated QB) and was a very efficient QB as a senior starter in 2008.

He was a good QB. Not great, but I've never heard anyone call him that.

Speaking of that, Sam Keller should be in this discussion imo

Farley was a game changer. I remember someone on those teams saying he was a horrible practice player, but absolutely flipped a switch when the bright lights came on. I loved watching him play.

My heretical Nebraska take is that Suh was slightly overrated. A great player who should have won the Heisman, but piled up stats in a couple games, and dominated McCoy & Texas so memorably that people think he was that dominant every game. More a case of the folklore getting swept away than any real negatives about him.

A defensive tackle who "should have won the Heisman" was overrated? That is a hot take! haha

I guess I applaud you for having the balls to put this out there as I'd be surprised if anyone agreed with you. But your last sentence I've quoted here is a Rufus level take.

Rufus? Haven't heard that name in a LONG time. Is he on any other boards?

Hasn't been on Inside Nebraska for at least a couple years if not more. But yes, he had some terrible takes or some great trolls.
