Who is the most overrated player in Nebraska Football History?

So many that piss me off so I'll just stick with the recent coaches:

-Damian Jackson. Because whenever people said he could play, and I brought up if he did we'd be in trouble since he's never played football before, they responded with "his Navy Seal training is tougher than anything he will encounter on the football field" and it really bothered me.

-Pretty much any recruit that Frost or Rhule brought in due to their track speed that we celebrated

-Wynden Ho'Ohuli and Mauga-Clements

-Tyreke Johnson as a five star transfer from Ohio State

-Almost all our JUCO guys Held saved Frost's ass on in December when we were short about 7 players to our signing class like Omar Manning,

-Noa Pola-Gates

-Vaha Vainuku who Gas Can told me had a chance to start for us, even though he didn't even play at Utah and we had no idea what position he'd play, and Frost only brought him in to start a poly pipeline
Yea, that whole Chaz in SoCal Calabassas group (except for one player), completely screwed us, or flat out wasn’t good enough to play. Bookie or whatever his name was, was too small.

I like the fact that that group came in about 2 years too soon. They’d have been demanding all kinds of NIL $.

That’s a good point… Keyshawn Jr would have been getting paiddddd to come in 20 pounds overweight.

Name me a 3 star that’s gotten a bag..
Not sure the relevance of your question since the guy I mentioned was a 4 star on multiple services, and composite 4 star.

But my point was more about his dad private jetting Holmes and Bookie and Gebbia here and getting paid accordingly.

On3 wasn’t even a website when he was a recruit. He was a low 4 star at some point in his recruitment, but he was a 3 star on some too. He was never getting “paid” because he was never good. Low 4 stars don’t get paid either. Now Holmes and Bookie definitely would’ve got paid. https://247sports.com/player/keyshawn-johnson-53427/

One of the best things to come from the Mike Riley era was the Keith Williams v. Zach Smith (@Zone6) feud, imo.

What a weird way to say “I was wrong”

I never said On3 was a thing back then, it's pretty clear as he doesn't have a rating from them back when he was a recruit. What it does show is that he was a 4 star on 2 services and a 3 star on 1 service. Thus, On3 retroactively has him as a composite 4 star which is pretty easy to comprehend, I would think.

And Keyshawn Jr would have absolutely been getting paid as a 4 star (glad we both agree you were off thinking he was a 3 star) and the one who had a family getting Gebbia, Bookie, and Darnay to even be remotely interested in us. I really don't want to blow your mind here, but we were already taking care of KJJ and his family a little bit as we found a loophole for flying all these kids here on visits and for Friday Night Light camps.

That and a 9 win season
Those two things, and Williams getting in his DUI accident and when the girl asked what insurance he had he came with “Blue Cross Blue Shield”
