So curious, for those who may know Turd personally or just heard things through the rumor mill, whatever, or were paying attention to him at UNO, whatever, what does this mean for Frost now?

To me, feels like Turd would want him to succeed because of the back story and what it would mean for Frost and the program as a whole. Also, based on his presser, it doesn't seem he'll be afraid to hold Scott accountable and put him in his place if need be. Demand results. Does this still give Frost the job stability he had under Moos or is there more pressure now? I do feel like there is a tad more pressure but only because Turd will demand results instead of saying "Scott needs more time to get things established."

Will be curious if Matt Davison will still have his easy 6 figure salary "job" now.

On a more serious note, I get the impression that Moos pretty much allowed Frost all the freedom to do whatever he wanted, I can see Turd being more "hands on" and expect results

Also, the Turd line about "no excuses" had to have been directed directly at Scott and Matt. They have used the Riley crutch since the day they arrived.

Turd will have none of that. Will also be interesting to see the power Gerrod continues to hold over the media or that switches to Turd.

Bill was nothing more than a hired "yes man" to Scott and the BOR.

This was my first thought when Turd said that. While I do believe some of the things Frost has said about Riley's tenure are completely true and understandable, gotta move on at some point. I don't know about Matt saying anything, but Frost for sure.

Matt is nothing but a third arm of Scott. They are joined at the hip and group think. Turd is no dummy.

I think Turd can provide some perspective on how to better organize and run the football program. Ever since Frost has been here, he has been slowly making changes, and I think having Turd there to provide guidance will help. I'm not sure Moos really filled that role.

Turd talked a little bit about trust and development. Urben Meyer talks about those two things a lot too. Gotta develop your coaches as well as your players. And your players have to trust you. I think Frost will trust Turd just enough to listen and take his advice. I'm guessing Frost didn't give a shit what Moos thought.

Frost is no longer the apex alpha on campus, which, in my opinion, is the best thing that could’ve happened.

For some reason I think Matt just nonverbally got told to sit his ass in the back of the classroom while the adults talk with this hire. I think Scott and Turd are on the same level intellectually but Turd won't be Frost's drinking buddy, but an actual boss. And Matt will be told to present himself, and the N, better at public functions.

Well said.

Likely not as much as anyone believes.

Twenty-four hours ago this would have been a terrible hire in 90% of peoples’ minds and now he’s the savior of Nebraska athletics.

Very interesting what one presser can do.
