Breaking WanDale enters transfer portal

I'm sorry, but LOL at him trying to get the heat off by throwing in the family angle. His remarks to ESPN combined with the circumstances of his departure (dad and trainer coming to Lincoln) make it abundantly clear he's just trying to go somewhere that he thinks will use him better. Fair enough, I suppose, but don't try to make me as a Nebraska fan wish him good luck and say "oh, it's so understandable--family always comes first, and anyone getting on him is a shit person and fan we don't need!" I don't hate him and I understand his reasons, but I don't wish him good luck or want him to succeed anywhere else.

He also wasn't making or breaking anything next season. With good QB play, he'd be a great piece. But with good QB play, this whole offense looks so much better, we're already in a much better spot. Without good QB play, we are still fucked regardless of his presence.

This 100% this. Also, not sure what anyone wanted Frost to do when you have a parent and a trainer come into your office who have never coached football and try to tell you how you need to call your offense.

Pretty much. Frost running Wandale up the middle relentlessly was mind numbing.
 


That was pretty quick. Name goes into the portal and has an ESPN piece ready for him. This was about him trying to get to the league, can’t knock him for that but he should’ve been honest about it when he left. Using his mom as an out is cowardly.
