Wandale

Rondale Moore is by far his superior
Rondale had about the same explosion, but was stronger and had a better top end speed. It really wasn't that close either iyam.

I do think Wandale was better in tight spaces.

Bottom line you need to be a 4.4 or better guy at Wandale's size.

Very true. Don't think I ever expected him to be a top 5 pick but I did expect a lot more out of him. Hard to tell how much is whats around him vs his issues.
I think it’s a combo of both. I think they may have given him too much to think about it but also not enough weapons to pull it off. Is what it is now. The inside info on this board makes me very hopeful for this year

Biggest knock on Moore in the draft evals was 1. not great at contested catches on vertical routes+not great at separation on vertical routes and 2. durability. Wandale is definitely worse at 1. and just as bad on 2.

Moore is elite in separate+playmaking in the short to intermediate game. Wandale isn't anywhere close there to date. Dude got eaten alive on press coverage in short routes, where Moore is strong and quick enough to burn people on slants. I'm sure he didn't get an exactly favorable scouting report and blamed the coaching staff. Still think WR is a better running back than receiver at this point and dude needs to evaluate his limitations.

Wandale is one of those guys who will be an extremely productive college football player and have basically no role on an NFL team. There’s no shame in that. But blaming any coaching staff for the inevitable will be pretty lame.

Kid played his ass off for the Huskers - I think he will do well at Kentucky and wish him nothing but the best.
