It kinda sorta does in the Eastern part of the state. It separates the Omaha side of the state from Lincoln & beyond as you drive on I-80, which was the reference I was shootin' for in my brain. I figured if I said a "natural" dividing line like US Highway 81 (where prairie grouse season changes in Nebraska), that would be cornfusing to folks.
