Scott is done. I hope sooner rather than later, but done is done. When it happens is not the point. So how did we get here?

He was basically brought in to do a few things and its those few things that will get him canned. First and foremost the offense.
He was supposed to be the young up and coming offensive big dog that would change the landscape of the Big 10. That didn't
happen, but why? (Some of the blame must go to assistants and coordinators but Frost is their boss so it ultimately lands on him)

Oline? Its been a catastrophe. The recruiting was decent but the development has been lacking to say the least. His best OL have
been Riley guys. It kind of makes sense because Oline are always better as Jr. and Sr. But this year he has almost run out of Riley guys
and "his" recruits have been underperforming. He took a giant in Benhart and turned him into a giant traffic cone. Corcoran needed
more development time before he was shown in the spotlight. Maybe anointing him as a surefire starter based on the Rutgers game
from last year was a mistake too. And then there is his pet project Jurgens. Frost insisted that we turn a TE into a center and that he
start as a redshirt freshman after an injury plagued freshman year in which he barely practiced his new position. The funny thing is
that Jurgens might end up a decent center but the pain that we have had to endure in the process can not in any way be considered worth it.
We also got a guy from Germany who barley had any experience either. From left to right we have: Not ready, German, TE, No frills, Traffic Cone.
That's the "pipeline". Watch out OSU, you might slip on a flag that was thrown for holding or false start on your way to our deer in the
headlights QB.

RB? His best RB in 4 years was Ozigbo, a guy he didn't recruit or develop. The RB position has suffered from so many things it's hard
to categorize. The usage has been equal parts confusing and frustrating. No guy has ever been "the guy" since Ozigbo.
Recruiting has been spectacular. We all did a backflips when he got Maurice Washington and then again when he landed
Wandale Robinson. Mills looked like a major recruiting win in the form of a transfer. What happened with Maurice ended up making it
a recruiting miss since we should have had some idea about the type of guy he was. (the court case being a bit unknowable but his
selfishness should have been obvious) We then asked Wandale to run between the tackles as an undersized "Duck R" and left Mills
on the sideline when inside the 5 and near the goal line. We lost Wandale because of this and lost games too. Eventually we lost both
MW and WR after dedicating huge amounts of practice time into their development as true freshmen. A HUGE sunken cost that could never
be regained. This year without Wandale and Mills has been no different. Hell, we are even giving Brody Belt carries for some reason while
Morrison and Stepp shoot the hotdog cannon. 4 years in and can anyone say we have a reliable threat for next year?

WR? Total joke. Nebraska never hit on a transfer. Noa? Nope. Falck? Nope. Toure? Nope. Martin? Nope. And so much practice time and
attention has gone to those dudes that guys like Betts can't seem to develop their obvious talent. Currently the best two WRs of Frost's
tenure play for Kentucky and TCU (JD retired, I know) respectively. They transferred out. Recruiting looks promising but where are they?
Walk on and drop machine Wyatt Liewer has more game time than any of our highly rated recruits outside of Betts. Omar Manning has been
such an enigma that he is either catching some nice TD or not even suited up. He has still, in year two, missed more games than he has ever
made an important play in. Again, 4 years in for Frost, and can anyone say we have a reliable threat for next year?

TE? Austin Allen. That's it. There is the one player that flourished under Frost. One guy. 4 years and one guy on offense has seen his stock rise.
He wasn't even recruited by Frost. Vokolek? lol. Stoll? He was good but had underwhelming influence on games.

QB? Absolute disaster. Frost was a national champion QB himself that has coached future NFL players in Mariota and undefeated stat machine
Milton, surely Frost will solidify this spot on the roster beyond doubt. (Charlie Murphy: "Wrong. Wrong.") Bringing in Adrian as a part of his first
recruiting wave was a major win at the time. Adrian even won the job and his play his freshman year justified his coach's choice. But Frost's inabililty
to recruit or attract and keep a back up is why we are where we are. Nobody can now argue that Adrian is not a complete development shambles.
His career record shouldn't even be possible and is only actually possible because Scott never found a replacement. Vedral transferred in and out. Luke was
a GIANT recruiting miss even though Frost stupidly tried selling us on the fact that he was the "future of the program". And Smothers must
absolutely suck if he can't even get his coach to think about using him after watching Adrian piss away game after game, year after year. Does anyone think
Haarberg would come in and light up Purdue? lol

So the offense that was supposed to be our strong point and Frost's specialty has been anything but. Our defense is respectable but so obviously get
discouraged once the offense starts sputtering that you can't really blame them. They are as traumatized as us fans with the only difference being that
fans don't have to go face an Cockeye OL, OSU WR or Wisconsin fullback immediately after watching Adrian perform a midfield abortion in a key moment.

Goodbye, Scott. Please enjoy your long sleeved t-shirt, slightly off center hat, Skol chew and your $20 million. We'll be here sweeping up our hopes and
dreams in between therapy sessions.

I remember when I used to care this much about Husker football. The sad thing is I don't think I will ever be able to root for any other college team. It's just a pervasive part of the deep subconscious for most of us. I will pay attention to who is hired. If it's another failed attempt to either appease or piss off the tradition coalition instead of hiring the best available guy I will be out. Sick and tired of the preschool level in fighting that's has only succeeded in destroying every last vestige of what was once the gold standard in College football. Fuck them and their micro penis egos.

I would argue Ozigbo's jump to his senior year was significant so you have to give them some credit for his development. It was probably that the kid just needed someone to push him though.
