Pretty much. Outside of Tony - who's oddly just bringing his old RSS gimmick to here for some weird reason - they either want another poor season so they can feel validated about all their trash talk in the off-season or they are over dramatic.

Odd times we live in right now where being right means more than winning football games. Even odder that anyone believes that this crap means anything when the lights turn on.

I think it's a combo of both. Some people really want to be right even if it means we lose games.

Although, It does seem like in this current environment people and more people just want to be right so they don't have to admit they were wrong. I guess a lot of people are so incorrigible that being wrong would upset their fragile self-esteem.

It’s so much easier to predict a losing season and finish your thought with “Hope I’m wrong.” We can’t count how many posts have ended with those words over the last decade. Do you really think anyone is going to give a shit or hold them to account if they are wrong? Fuck no. That’s why it’s easy. You can’t really lose in that situation.

Absolutely. I think there are people who do not like his demeanor and can justify it by 12-20 and some of the blunders that are now public.

Now more than ever, right or wrong, too early or not, I think the remainder of Frost's HC tenure is 90% in the hands of next Saturday.

I feel like this goes all the way back to the end of Bo’s tenure - people HATED him and wanted him to lose at the end. Then when Riley came there was a crowd that loved him and another that hated him (some just because he wasn’t a Nebraska guy and others because he was a mediocre coach). When Frosty got here a lot of people were behind him but there were a few that weren’t - those few that weren’t have become louder and gained numbers ever since the end of the 2nd season. It seems like it’s been the Nebraska way since 2014
