Ted Carter new Ohio St president

FeitCanWrite but FeitCan'tCount.

That's 6 head coaches.

Also, having only 4 presidents over 26 years seems pretty good to me. Ohio State has had 11 presidents in that time, though 4 of those 11 were interim. Carter is the 12th since 1997
Agreed. Feit is also a retard.

It's been 26 years since our '97 natty. A simple search pulls up that the average tenure of a college president or chancellor is 6 years. Average AD tenure is 5 years. Average coaching tenure is under 4 years.

So we should be at about 4 presidents, 4 chancellors, 5 ADs, and 6 coaches by the averages. Almost exactly where we are.

I saw somewhere that this move was designed to make the job more appealing to a Carter successor
Interesting. It also provides incentive not to hire just an academic blowhard.
Ted Carter might have been the ideal president to oversee that athletic department, but when you make a rule change like that, you have to be thinking ahead to the next guy and the guy/gal after that.
