I have family from the twin cities and my cousin coached with him previously. Said he was a damn good coach and always knew he would be a good HC somewhere despite his quirks. That said he would get all the RTB mongos fired the fuck up if he came here and he would have some success.

My recollection is that his agent leveraged the opening at FSU the year they hired Norvelll to get him a big fat raise at Minnesota. Whether he could have taken the FSU job, idk

You don’t have to sell him to me. I’ve watched him beat Nebraska up many times. He’s a hell of a coach

I do think MSU made a huge mistake though offering that d bag Tucker $95M. Frosty nearly beat him twice and that’s saying a lot.
