Guy wound up blowing his nose the entire flight… was less than ideal

@ZJSARENOTFREE if you can, see if you can find availability to upgrade to first class from business if your route offers it. Qatar offers 6 first class seats on the 777-300ER we’re taking from DOH-MLE tonight. Just boarded and the in flight menu includes caviar service. The seat is much much wider than the Q suite was as well, I guess they bought these from Cathay Pacific a few years back.

Should be a lovely flight coming up shortly.

Well, I have to fly to Providence today from Omaha. Flight was delayed even before I got here. So now my layover allows me 5 minutes to get to the next gate in Detroit. Delta tried pushing me back tomorrow and I was like, fuck that.

Fuck Delta. My bag is going to get stuck in Detroit, I fucking know it.

I fly pretty much every week and the two things that piss me off consistently are Charlotte Douglas International and dipshits in the TSA line who act like they’ve never been through security.

Same, but it’s been ongoing for the 12 years I’ve used CLT as my primary airport. Granted, the level of construction throughout the airport effecting day to day operation and traveler interface has been at a high the last year or so, but it’s never stopped.

I’d also say they need to spend some time training the CLT employees. Atlanta used to be the airport I’d travel through that had the least helpful, most self absorbed employees in the country, but Charlotte beat them out for the crown. I’m not talking about airline folks or even TSA, but the a holes that work directly for the airport or one of their service vendors. They act like they’re the reason the airport exists, not the traveler. It’s pretty impressive.

Wife’s friend was supposed to fly direct from Dallas to Omaha Thursday. After being on the plane for several hours and after getting off the plane and back on twice the flight was finally canceled. American would not give anyone their bags and assured people their bags would be on the flight to Omaha the next morning. Not one bag that American kept overnight made it on that plane.

I’ve got my fingers crossed that sometime before I die or retire, they’ll have the damned moving walkways working down Concourse E. I’d like to know what brilliant mind was consulted and decided tearing them all out or making them all inoperable at the same time on the longest freaking Concourse in the airport was a good idea.
