What i was really getting at was is there no investment account that you could move it to to transfer easier. So he didn't have to do it in person at limited amounts.

If I had to guess there is no “official” rule capping withdrawals or wire transfers per day, it’s just an unofficial verbal thing like Sportsbooks do with bet limits.

Pretty much anything international in my eyes is high risk and low reward.

I'm sure there is something I've forgotten but doesn't seem like you have the same margin for error internationally.

A lot of big players treat FX as a short term savings account that has the ability to actually bring an interest return worth talking about.


Ex: “Big Bank A” has $300m liquid that they know they will need at the end of the month for another deal, so big Bank A decides to exchange it for the currently low trading currency of Country B (one of the Asian tigers are typically the most popular choice) Big Bank A will be watching the exchange rate over the next 22 days and when it’s close to the end of the month and/or the rate moves to a better position vs the Dollar = instant exchange via the preset algorithm. Big Bank A makes a little extra on top and has the $300m ready for the deal on May 1st

My favorite is the "It's not inflation it's corporate greed price gouging." So... its inflation but because it's corporations raising their prices when they don't have to it's not really inflation.

The administration has been switching back and forth between blaming Putin for everything and blaming corporations for everything.

It’s been interesting, you would think they would stick with 1 because this flip flopping and mixing messages is clearly not working.

Especially when you have Biden sticking his foot in his mouth every other week and Psaki and everybody else having to bend over backwards to cleanup his mistakes and backtrack statements he made.

Sold out on my $XOM puts this morning they were up big, but I jumped in a little too early Friday and was only up 70% when I sold. Finished the day +200% on that trade today.

They just need to say... Hey we fucked up... We printed a lot of fucking money... Now we have inflation.

Oh by the way we have a had a few problems on the supply side, but that is like a fraction of the problem.

Thinking about getting in on the Russian Rubles game...it's basically a fraction of a penny now. Hell, once Putin gets whacked by the General Staff, it has to rebound, right? Lol.

More realistic rebound: when the West’s short attention span moves on to something else and all Russian sanctions are slowly and quietly dropped.

I was joking about buying rubles, of course.

Yeah, much to be expected given the nature of the conflict..but the American attention span isn't gonna impact sanctions at all, so if Russia is hoping for that then they are dumber than we thought.
