Came to the thread cuz my Dad told me he bought GM stock today.


No, not because he is buying a dip and thinks there will be a gain with some new announcement..... but because he himself is planning on buying a Silverado or Sierra (new or used, he hasn't decided yet)



Either way, he is confident his singular purchase of a new or used pickup between $30-60,000 is gonna push the stock.

When my Dad called me about it for like 5 seconds I thought he heard a rumor about the US Army medical corps all switching to Chevy EVs or something… then I remembered it’s my Dad who watches curse of oak island and has a safe of gold cuz he thought Obama was gonna become the dark lord Voldemort or some other Fox News’y thing.

Watching Curse of Oak Island is like watching Nebraska football - At the beginning of the season "This is the year !!!", as the season goes on "This is not the year !!!", after the end of the season "Next year is going to be the year !!!".

We're back to an average annual real gdp growth of 1.5% from 4th qtr 2019. Not quite where we were but not bad considering the pandemic in the middle.

He tried to kill it, but a Federal judge (Trump appointed) overturned his Executive Order to ban drilling on public lands. As if the caribou give AF.
