There's basically no way that tomorrow's revelation can't be funny:

1) If it's local guys that people actually know, the chances of them being respected are basically nil;

2) If it's random Rivals goobers with no connection to Nebraska, the chances of them being respected are basically nil;

3) If they picked out any current posters to promote into some sort of staff role, all hell will break loose.

Or grab somebody from a local radio/tv station or newspaper. I think it would help a staff if they were to add a former Husker player as a writer. Football expertise but also some connections to the program.

Yeah if they want to have any chance at staying afloat they have to bring in someone with SOME kind of legitimacy. A former Husker would go a long way for a lot of people. Maybe someone like Adam Carriker who has been doing some online local media stuff for the past few years already.

Adam Carriker or Will Compton would be 2 good ones. Even if they can't get a full timer here have to be plenty of former Huskers who would write 1 column a week or work part time for some extra Pesos. Content doesn't need to be just about Recruiting or the team. Husker fans would eat up stories of what went on behind the scenes during our hay day. But they really need someone who can break down film, an X's & O's kinds guy. Interns and Mongo aren't cutting it. on3 does have much better national writers so Dean will have that going for him. Would love for Nate to come back to take that over if he ahs the right people around him.
