You could probably better explain what I’m trying to explain. I like the idea of variety without being complex. Something repeatable you can build off for our players but complex for defenses is very appealing and timeless.

We were 5-3 and had games against teams riding 5 & 4 game losing streaks and we still shit the bed. I was outspoken against Frost in 2019 when it was obvious things weren’t going well but wasn’t on here at that time. New coach and new expectations but I’m sure half way through next year the complacency will set in again after realization that we indeed still suck. Trust me, I don’t want to bitch but a spade is a spade. Look at our offense, look at our staff and then look at the recruits we have coming in and there isn’t a lot of hope on the horizon.

Don’t worry, Danny Kaelin and the metro boys are coming to save the day though!

I don't disagree with any of that. My point is that everyone thought that Nebraska was getting ready to explode onto the scene. No one had any clue that Frost was going to flop so badly. I am not going to suck his dick and act like getting us to 5-5 is some amazing feat against a pillow soft schedule.

Again, as soon as we had a lick of expectations, we folded like a cheap tent. Just like we always have over the last decade.
