Don’t worry, we’ll put the fear of god into defenses with our slow white QB and 22 personnel lmao.

Just tried of sucking dick! It amazes me that so many people are still this patient. We are the scum of CFBALL.

I just don’t understand why you'd waste time and effort of putting on a camp for a position that’s extinct in football.

I just don’t know how anyone can look at Rhule’s history and then look at our offensive staff and actually feel confident we will have a good product. I sure as hell don’t and especially not with our lack of talent.

G literally explained the fullback thing the other day. Or did you completely gloss over that?

Can about guarantee the effort that went into that camp didn’t fall on the staff…at all, besides showing up to make an appearance.

And you bring up Rhules history….taking chicken shit and turning it into chicken salad. Or is that not fit the narrative here?

Just take the dick out of your mouth then I guess??? All jokes aside I’m tired of the off-season hype every year, but there are a lot of things that seem improved this far under Rhule.

Why in the fuck are we wasting our time on a fullback camp then?
That’s like people who get mad that we “waste resources on recruits” if they commit elsewhere as if sending DMs through twitter or putting on a football camp is wasted energy.

What if I told you a kid that we discover at the fullback camp might also make a good TE, RB, LB, DL, or special teams player someday?

Dont be so agro… football coaches putting on a football camp for a football position we use isn’t a bad thing.

I don't want to be pandered to anymore. Nebraska has been Fox News the last decade. Every offseason coaches/media just blast out narratives that we all gobble and want to hear and none of it matters. We just continually suck and get our shit pounded in by teams who aren't even good.

This fullback camp just screams farce to me but I hope you are right with how you described it.

He won't win at Nebraska without a competent offense. Not sure how we can expect to have one when we have a reject offensive line coach and an OC that got ran out of his old job. I think it is also going to be a struggle at the QB position when you look at the dudes in that room and the help that is on the way.

i just don't get why as a program, we spend $165m on meaningless facilities. pay $9m a year for a HC and then go bargain hunting for ACs. So many things we do make no sense to me but I will admit its been pretty easy to pick apart Nebraska. Just assume the worst and you are right every time.

We can't afford to fuck this, we are currently irrelevant and very close to becoming permanently irrelevant in the new college football.

Agree the assistant hires sucked ass. Wasn’t Rhules request to have a huge assistant salary pool?

#2ndChoice woulda put together a helluva staff with that checkbook. Remember we were his first choice.

QUACCKCKKK

How did he get “run out” of his old job? Because some idiot fans didn’t like him and glad he was gone? Or the fact they trotted out a washed up QB they had to pull out of a GA position just to have a QB the first year? Or Rehab Rattler to a somewhat competent QB and then put up enough points to upset two top 10 teams. Come on now. You say this shit is easy to see all the time but then completely ignore the obvious that is good.

OCs are notorious whipping boys when offenses struggle. You know my thoughts on the OL and Donnie. Also have a lot of concerns about the offense in terms of number of schemes that were presented in the spring game. I don’t think Satterfield is the this great OC. But I don’t think he’s dogshit either. I also think Rhule will have a tight leash on everything and their game plans will feature what we do well and protect the ball. Not just go run run pass punt or take :10 off the clock like Frost half the game and punt.

And I detest fat running backs and non spread offenses. Which I don’t think this offense will be much of that outside of your short yardage power plays. That was consistently in the Baylor film. 3rd and short. Q Power. Fück you. Get a first down. Keep playing. Also was consistent was take deep shots and throw RPOs. Both of those were apparent in the spring game and practice I went to.

I hope to everything holy they cut down on their blocking schemes. Because if they try and run that many. Then fire up my pitchfork. But he has not shown that…at least at Baylor. They ran 4 run schemes a game. That is as basically it.

If they can actually control the ball a little bit. And actually win the 4th instead of pissing the fücker away every game. I don’t give a fat flying fuck what the offense looks like. Fûcking win. Win. Get better recruits. Get better recruits = more dynamic offense.

And we literally said we can’t fück this up with frost. And here we are….after the frost bed shitting…and we still were able to hire a good coach. And the whole. Oh, shitty assistants. Goes back again, he’s developed good coaches. He actually has a Fuckikg track record of it.

You say this shit all the time….sick of the talk. Yes, we only have talk right now. But Rhule is the only one over the last how many years. That actually has a track record of follow through on the talk.

Am I confident in the O. Fuck no. I think Donnie blows and the OL will still suck and I’ll be drunk posting texting every Fuckikg game. I sure as hell hope not….but I’m not ready to just completely say fuck this and bitch about a fucking fullback camp that in all likelihood someone suggested to Rhule and he said sure, organize it and I’ll show up for 5 minutes, I’ve got more important shit to do.

1.) Why not just hire a better OC? Someone who isn't just average?
2.) Why in the fuck keep dumbass Donnie when he is the most important AC we have? HUGE RED FLAG
3.) I think you are dreaming that we are going to look like Baylor on offense. Rhule has stated many teams that we will look like Temple on offense.

It is like Succession when Logan looks at his kids and says that he loves them but they are not serious people. That is what I feel like Nebraska football has become when you compare it to the teams that are actually trying to win. I just can't fathom how we continuously choose to play in the little kids sandbox. Just my 2 cents but our O staff is not anywhere near good enough to allow us to get to where we want to go. For fucksake we have a teenager as a full-time AC. You are x10 more qualified to be an AC than McGuire is.

You definitely have a lot more faith in Rhule than I do because he's is now the coach of Nebraska and our stench leaves its mark on everyone who comes into contact.

Pretty sure Donny was the best out of a bunch of bad options after better candidates turned us down. Don't get me wrong, he blows goats and our OL will fucking suck...but I don't think Rhule had many (if any) better options.

Then Rhule isn't worth the $$$ we are paying him. My god, @slattimer would run circles around that dumbass, guarantee it. We put these coaches up on a pedestal and for many of them they are no better coach than high school coaches. They just get hooked up with the right people and tag along for the ride.

Why not go and get Conor Riley from KState? We beat our chest about making all of this money well what good is it when you don't use it to actually win?

I think it’s pretty clear Rhule hires people he trusts. And put in the work that he does.

Yeah. Not a fan of the Donnie hire to keep him on. Not going to disagree with you at all there.

I’m not going off what he’s saying. I’m saying the offense is going to look like Baylor because I trust my eyes and what I’ve watched. I literally watched every single All-22 of Baylor from Rhules last year. Charted every single play. Made a write up for this site. And then watched the spring game. And did the same thing for the first half of the spring game. Schematically. Concept wise. There are a ton of similarities and exact same plays. But I don’t have a clue what they ran at Temple. So I could be wrong. But what my eyes tell me. Is Baylor. Same counter RPOs. Same pass concepts. Same inside zone. Same power play.

I’m also not one that believes Nebraska is unique or special. And that this place has any more scrutiny than any other place where coaches are paid millions of dollars to produce. This whole pressure cooker thing. In my mind. Isn’t magnified here. Our media is basically a bunch of Cushy dorks who don’t know shit. The past coaches have failed because they’ve sucked from an organization and accountability stand point. Hell. Pelini was actually the one closest to having accountability and culture. Frost had none. The literal definition of all talk and no substance or follow thru. Nice Mike was in over his head.

Red flags to me is Donnie. Is the number of schemes they ran in the spring game. But from a culture and accountability aspect. I think Rhule is top notch in that category. Is the young buck WR one. Potentially. His youth is definitely a concern. But that little fucker does sure seem like a savant. I really like the TE coach. The RB coach seems okay. But running back is the least of my concerns. It’s OL and more OL. Which worries me. A lot.

I will beat this drum until they day I fall over. Should have gotten Bill Fûcking O’Boyle.

I’m actually really jealous that deion got that duo of Kent States HC and O’Boyle. But if we would have hired them. People would have lost their shit on those hires too.

Can't you see? Donnie propelled us to a distant 2nd place finish in the recruiting battle for the nation's number one recruit. No way we could let someone with such a prestigious acumen slip away. His techniques are so advanced that no one in the entirety of the NCAA is teaching anything like it! He's so far ahead of his time!

You know x100 more than me about football so I really hope you are right. I unfortunately have learned to spot bullshit over the last 20 years of Nebraska football. Don't piss on my head and tell me it is raining and that is how I feel when I hear explanations about the offense.

1.) No one has any idea why Donnie is here and we all admit he is going to suck. If the Oline sucks, the offense will suck.
2.) Rhule says he pays attention to how we used to win here and clamors about running QBs but then proceeds to recruit non-running threats at QB.
3.) We put on a fullback camp and clamor that we will run for 75 yards in the 4th quarter but when you look at Rhule's history, he's never had a good rushing offense. Also, see Oline above.
4.) I think you underestimate the pressure that is at Nebraska. The fishbowl is different here, there is no other show in town to absorb any of the negativity.

I just don't understand why we don't act like the other blueblood programs? Tells me we aren't a blueblood which is a huge kick in the nuts.

Offensively. Again. I’m going off what I see.

Don’t like Donnie.

I think Rhule knows how to play the pandering game of fat running backs and Nebraskas history.

Rhules offenses haven’t been stellar running the ball statistically. But they’ve increased their win totals every year. Win = more important to stats. I’d love to light the world and fire and score a fuck ton of points. But as long as it amounts to wins. I don’t care.

I don’t buy into the pro style qb recruiting. They’re D1 athletes. They can run. They aren’t game breakers. But they all can run enough to fit the scheme. They want dudes that can throw the football first. Not athletes that can run and teach them to throw serviceably. Personally think they’ll use Haarberg in a wildcat style role. But that’s just a pure guess.

The fat running back camp. Zero fucks. It’s pure publicity IMO and a chance to see more Nebraska kids. That’s it.

I think you over estimate the pressure and base it off mostly Frost sucking a fat bag of dicks. He’s always been an arrogant asshole. That didn’t change. He was the same way at UCF. They just had a roster with NFL dudes playing in a junk conference winning shootouts. It’s obvious now, not so much then. At least IMO.

I don’t think the talent is so far off that it’s a year one suck under Rhule. At least I hope not. Outside of the LB coach. I think the D staff is really solid. Tony White I really like from the little Ive seen of him.

IMO. They’re going to try and play solid defense this year. Protect the ball. And be efficient to win games vs a schedule that isn’t just overwhelmingly daunting. Then adjust from there as you pick up some steam and clout from building.

If they can win and make a bowl. Will be easy to just point. Same trajectory Rhule has done before. Get on board on the road to 10+ wins.

And he’s obviously not afraid to trim the fat. He can say all he wants about dudes staying if they want, blah blah blah. Whatever. They had over 100 scholly guests and got it down to the 85 limit. The dude isn’t Fuckikg around.

Will also be interested to see how the S&C guy does. So far, I think he’s a good hire.

And the support staff and other people he surrounded himself with seem to be top notch and driven. Feel bad Dave Ellis was ousted. But besides Donnie. Anyone associated with Frost has been shown the door. That an Guinta.
