The Nebraska football recruiting apparatus has its work cut out for it if it wants to find a way to sign transfer wide receiver Isaac TeSlaa. The Huskers are making a play for the D2 transfer though it’s not entirely clear how hard they are going after him.

What is known is if they are trying to bring TeSlaa into the fold, they are going to have to fight off some big competition. And some B1G competition. Purdoodoo has come calling for the talented pass catcher and they’re far from the only school the Cornhuskers are going to need to fight off.

He also just came back from a visit to Arkansas. The Razorbacks appear to be one of the teams with the best chance of landing TeSlaa, depending on when he plans on pulling the trigger.

Speaking about his visit, he made it clear he enjoyed what he saw when talking to a local Fox news station.

However, despite the fun visit, it doesn’t feel as though the receiver is all that close to pulling the trigger.

In addition to Arkansas, Purdoodoo, and Nebraska football recruiting coming calling, Cockeye, Cockeye State, Oklahoma State, Baylor, Miami, Houston, WiscyDicks, Ole Miss, Texas A&M, Colorado, and Arizona have all given him offers.

Isaac TeSlaa may be one of the most sought-after receivers on the transfer portal right now. That’s especially surprising, considering that he comes from Hillsdale College. Though it appears he’s shown off the talent to overcome that stigma.

Teslaa has visited Cockeye, ISU, Purdoodoo, Arkansas & then Colorado. He's not coming here.

Posters saying on RRS that predictions for Hornsby are coming in for Texas State. Must want to play QB if true.
just one - Chris Hummer of 247

But he changed the prediction he made for Nebraska last night when he did it

Clause still thinks Hornsby’s N and he knows about TX ST. rumor FWIW.
I saw that.

Dean just posted that he definitely is going to Tx St

I do not expect Hornsby to be a Husker.

I spoke with sources on my end, as I wanted to make sure I had a better feel before I made our switch. I have also been in contact with Malik's trainer JP Tillman over the last several weeks. I was in my office last night recording videos and tuning up our commit story on Hornsby last night, that is once again how good I felt about it at that time.

And yes, you are right Chris Hummer from 247 was the only writer with a very good in with Hornsby dating back to HS, and he put his initial switch on this today first. His info was on the same page as ours until today, and my guess is he spoke with Tillman. Tillman went crickets to use the last few days. I have no problem admitting that, as we were very much on top of this story and things took a turn.

Finally some legitimate reporting from Sean. This is what his site has been lacking and why we give him so much shit. Integrity & reporting.
