Official Nebraska Cardiac Beaver Slayers Offseason Baseball Thread

Schwellenbach has been on fire his last 3 starts: 20 IP, 14 H, 5 ER, 2 BB, 28 K 👀

In other news, Case Sanderson has had a very big summer in the Northwoods League: .359 BA, 13 2B, 6 HR, 51 RBI, 47 BB, 32 K - all in over 200 plate appearances.

Dylan Carey had a dang good summer in the Cape too. I haven't checked on others.

About damn time! Good for Coach, and Dannen...

I see he’s at $500k now, what was he before? And where does that put him in the conference pecking order for coach pay? Two conference titles in 4 (or 5 whichever way you look at it considering Covid) seasons, he deserves being near the top.
Edit: ponyboy, any intel if they are working on pay increases for assistant coaches?

Buettenback has been having a really good summer in the Northwoods League as well:

400k is what he was at.

He was at $400k prior.

$500k is ok for the moment, but again...SEC and ACC are paying double that or more. Hopefully the assistants got a bump too.

Also hoping that eventually we spend something on facilities and recruiting and travel.
