If I had to guess it'd go Sears - LHP - Christo for our opening weekend rotation. I'm not convinced Clark or Brockett has done enough to win the spot and I'll throw out a dark horse in Walsh.

Is there a reason why we'd have to throw a LHP the first weekend if we play 3 different teams? I get needing a lefty in the rotation against the same team for a weekend but if it's 3 different teams, then why not just try to throw our 3 best guys? Especially when we're not playing no name or smaller schools. I'd be disappointed if we get swept, ok with 1 win, happy with 2 and ecstatic with a sweep.

You're assuming the lefty starting isn't part of the three best options. I'm not convinced either way, but just wanted to throw it out there as a possibility. Strikes & consistency are the name of the game.

Yeah, I guess I took it as any decent lefty. For sure, there's nothing more frustrating when a pitcher can't throw strikes. At least make them earn it. Ready for the season to be here!
