Interesting timing of your post. Christo walked 5 guys in his latest outing. He hasn't looked good since the fall, where he took a huge jump!

As of this week, it's between Sears, Christo, Clark & Brockett. Worthley has been absolutely dominate and will start the season as a key component in the bullpen.
Cleavinger in the mix at all?

Ohhh that's a sad boner then fuck

@PonyBoy how good do you think this team will be in 2024?

Regional team for sure. If Childress can get the young arms settled in then I think we'll push for a B1G title. Outside shot of hosting regionals.

Nah, it's only one outing & he had a big, big fall. Best one he's had so far and seems really focused. I just found your comment of interesting timing.

One advantage with Rob over Jeff as pitching coach will be the mental game. He's a master at it and I've heard he's super excited about his staffs overall potential.

Sears had an incredible summer. He was absolutely dominant.

Christo / Sears could be a great one two combo (and maybe reversed).

We have a lot of potential when it comes to the arms, but the problem is quite a few are unproven.

I think Rob has a lot to work with, but it might be a slow start with the arms.

I think we'll be decently well rounded 1-9 at the plate, biggest power coming back will be Swanson followed by Anglim. But we just need some consistent contact up and down the lineup really.

Obviously going to be hard to replace two of the better offensive players in the past decade.

P.S. I'm really excited to see what Dylan Carey does this year. I think he's got a swing that has some power in there and he is already a very solid 3B defensively

Is Carey playing 3rd or shortstop?

Who is our closer gonna be?

Yeah sorry, he'll probably end up at short. Was just trying to say this fielding was very solid for a Frosh last year.
I think he was playing SS in the fall but I don’t know anything about or infield this year

I'd assume it would be Rans Sanders, UNO transfer, who was their closer last year. Unless there's someone better and he'd be set up guy.
Sounds like he might make a good closer. We have been lacking a reliable closer since Schwelly left

Carey is SS. 3B sounds like a platoon pending opponents starting LHP/RHP.

Borst & Daiss are the leading candidates to close. Borst is pure gas & Daiss has video game movement. We should have a clearer picture the first week of February.
