Offensive Staff

I’m unsure of what you’re trying to argue here. One player does not make or break an offense. Several teams lose their starting QB, RB, and other starters throughout the season, but they have enough in their schemes to allow the next man step up and help to get wins.
Look at my next post. Year one is a clusterfuck

QB makes or breaks an offense. Hence why the billionaire owners in the NFL shell out hundreds and hundreds of millions of dollars for them.

You can say that Rhule messed up on Sims - which is true. But that’s a one time mistake. Hopefully, he chooses better this off season. He’s shown to develop QB’s at his previous stops in college, so I’ll trust that that will happen here.

This is the stuff that drives me crazy for a lot of reasons.

You know damn good and well that this defense is spilling machines from the DE spot.

They’re running duo with some wrappers. They’ve done this a lot this year. You know who you don’t block in Duo. The freaking corners. And you know what your pullers need to be able to do vs a spilling DE. To log his ass. None of which happened. So we don’t log the spiller. We don’t crack an interior player. While the OL gets a decent push. But once again. Like most of the year. Perimeter blocking blows.

If you don’t have them ready for this. Then what are you doing.

Also. I’m still perplexed about the German starting at LG.

One thing that I noticed today was that Cockeye's OL was using our aggressive DL against us and making us pay for it, especially late in the game. I'm sure it's something that their OL coach or OC teach and design unlike Satt and Raiola. The only descent success was with a few of the delayed QB draws. I'm also shocked that we never run bootlegs and help make space. Maybe there's something that I'm missing why they don't do that. Maybe Raiola's contract won't get renewed this year and we'll make a run at Ferentz as OL/TE Coach or something similar while restructuring Satt's pay.

I haven’t been the most vocal Satt defender, but I think I’m off of the train defending him. His play calling doesn’t make much sense and has zero consistency to it. Sure, he’s been handicapped with bad injury luck and some of the worst P5 QB play I’ve seen, but man, it hasn’t been great.

Going back to last week, I just can’t believe that first down play call in OT. A short side option, really? What happened to the QB power we ran earlier in the season? And like it’s been mentioned a plethora of times in this thread, what the hell did JEJ do to not play today? Luto and Nouli were not impressive enough to have him benched.

It's the thing that scares me the most. Mike Leach was unbelievable when it came to Qbs. Rhule’s track record isn't good. I will say Drink knows Qbs and Kaelin was their #1 at Mizzou.

The sunshine pumpers are out in full force after another season where Nebraska shit the bed!

@ChocaEgg must be the biggest dipshit on this site? Lol
Rather be a dipshit than a tater

Pretty much all of it. Takes a real spud to white knight this staff (especially Satt) like you're doing. Sad! Hard to watch!
I'm sure you're nine Busch lights in. To say you didn't see improvement this year is hard to stomach. Which coach over the last 20 years did you cheer for?

I don't cheer for coaches, cuz. I cheer for NU. The improvement was minimal and the offensive side of the ball was even worse than the frost years.

The defense definitely improved as well as the offensive line. The O line is still a work in progress but atleast you saw improvement. As far as the offensive side goes overall it definitely didn’t improve. It was worse, and special teams is still garbage.

Show me the stats, babygirl. Prove to me that this clown show of an offense was better than the dogshit we saw under Frost & friends
Frost chose his wonderchild year one. Road him for 4 years. So yah, Rhule is behind the 8-ball. Martinez was a bum.
