With three minutes left in the game, a field goal almost a certainty…and that FG could win you the game…you load up the I and run the ball 3 times. Unless you are Satterfield of course. Satterfield thought it was a good idea to have your third string QB who had not played all season to chuck it up and see what happens. Complete lunacy. He cannot and will not commit to the run when we don’t have an accurate passer. At times, it is like Callahan his first year.

Satterfield is not a good OC, he is not a good QB coach. If Rhule thought it was a good idea to ‘be aggressive’ and not to play for the win (and that is not the same as playing not to lose), then he needs to be held accountable too. He should know better. It would be good for the local media to ask the tough questions, but they won’t.

I like Rhule. He can get us back to where we need to be…but there are some red flags.

This is the point. 1 & Goal at the 5 you say to your OL "You have 3 plays to get 5 yards" and at worst you settle for a FG on 4th down having grinded a bunch of time off the clock. Just run straight at them with power.

Football isn't hard sometimes.

My biggest gripe is the complete lack of identity on offense. Say what you will about Cockeye or Colorado but at least they have an offensive identity they can build around. We have no identity at all, I couldn’t tell you what Satt and Rhule want to do with this offense going forward.

So we should aim to be more like the team that has the worst offense in the history of the sport, who fired their offensive coordinator in the middle of the season?

Or we should be more like the team who’s OC just got demoted and stripped of his playcalling duties 3/4 of the way through the season?

If he is was we should have definitely hired him before Rhule.

We have the right guy for long term. You knew what this would be like for at least a year people just don't want to wait.

We have a worse offense with our discombobulation than Cockeye. It will be evident in less than two weeks. Hopefully we beat Wisconsin. We have a better chance beating them on the road.

Here is what Nebraska should do for their OC:
1) Call Andy Kotelnicki's agent and offer $2 million/Year, 3 Year contract
2) When he says no, call Andy Ludwig at Utah and offer him $2 million/Year, 3 Year contract
2) When he says no, and he probably will, they should call Sean Lewis and offer him $2 Million
3) When he says no they should call Duke's, Kevin Johns, provided he's not on his way to College Station with Elko
4) If that's a no, give Charlie Weiss Jr. a call at Ole Miss and see what he's up to.
5) When he says no call Willie Korn at Liberty and Kevin Barbay at Mississippi St and ask them if they want to coach at Nebraska
6) Then if all of those fail, you call up Paul Chryst

Obviously Rhule left 1.5 million on the pool to fire his friend if he sucked but wanted to give him a shot.
So now he has room to fire Satt and pay him next year as well as hire a new OC
