He’s gonna either end up at Minnesota (alma mater) after they also inevitably crash and burn this year or some much better caliber program. I am honestly convinced this is the only way to go. We keep trying to hire guys known for developing and can’t recruit. 12 roster spots it’s all about talent acquisition. Go get some amazing recruiter with sketchy past to bring in some dudes. We should have hired Pitino a few years back.

KState was dog shit for many years and turned their program around with Huggins and then Frank Martin. New coach is cut from same cloth. You have to get coaches with recruiting connections to win in Lincoln, NE.

I still think we could lure Steve Forbes from Wake Forest, but I'm not really sure he's going to be a good head coach in the B1G. He's an average coach in the ACC after 3 years there.

McCollum is intriguing. Jumping from D2 to B1G is drastic, though. Would be worried about recruiting at this level, but he's a winner.

I'm down for that. Kruger is at UNLV helping his son who's the head coach there. So we'd most likely have to find someone else. But I like that idea.
