Yeah I’ve heard the same thing and being picky isn’t always a good thing. When you continually tell everyone no they stop asking and a lot of that could really depend on what jobs will be available after the season. He has been pretty close on a few jobs but what does he make now 400-600k? We are literally talking 10x his salary. People can say things like money doesn’t matter but Jon Rahm is a perfect example today.Everything I’ve been told is that there is no chance he’d take Nebraska. He’s interviewed for plenty of other P6 jobs but hasn’t gotten a new gig yet.
He’s a good enough coach he has the right to be picky, and I don’t think money is the end all be all for him.
Somebody representing Nebraska reached out to his agent last January to put out feelers (him and Forbes share an agent so that guys phone was busy)
For the record, he was the other finalist for K-State when they hired Tang. He’s come close
